Brief, advice and shot plan
A call to agree the goal, audience and story, then a simple plan for interviews, b-roll and locations.
Corporate video
Company profiles, founder films and recruitment videos that look considered — directed by someone who has spent 30+ years making people look like themselves on camera.
Overview
Most corporate videos fail for the same reason: nobody decided what the film was for before the camera turned on. The result is a polite montage of office corridors and handshakes that nobody watches past the first ten seconds. Corporate video production in Singapore does not have to look like that, and it does not need a large agency budget to avoid it.
Every corporate project here starts with a conversation about one question — who is this for, and what should they do after watching? A company profile for investors is a different film from one for graduate recruits, even if both feature the same founder. Once that is settled, the shoot is planned backwards from the finished edit, so each set-up earns its place.
Covering a conference, launch or annual dinner? That is its own discipline — see event videography.
The hardest part of a corporate shoot is rarely the camera. It is helping a CFO, an engineer or a front-line team member speak naturally while a lens points at them. Francis spent years directing drama at TCS/Mediacorp, and the same skills apply: warming people up, rephrasing questions until the real answer comes out, and knowing when a take is good enough to move on. Interviews can be directed in English, Mandarin, Cantonese or Hokkien, which matters when your best spokesperson is more natural in their own language.
Many corporate shoots in Singapore are over-staffed. A director who also handles camera and lighting can deliver a polished interview-led film on a single day, with a sound recordist or second camera added only when the brief needs them (S$600 per extra crew member per day). That keeps your budget on what appears on screen — and keeps the footprint small in an office that is still working around you.
The same day that produces your 2–3 minute 16:9 film can also produce vertical cutdowns for LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok, plus short clips for your website and email signatures. Framing is planned for this from the start, so the cutdowns look composed rather than cropped. The Corporate package includes two social cutdowns as standard.
When you are ready, send a short brief — the goal, the audience, a rough timeline and budget — on WhatsApp or through the contact page. You will get honest advice and a firm quote, usually the same day.

FAQ
The Corporate package is S$3,800: a full-day shoot and a polished 2–3 minute film with colour, sound and subtitles, plus two social cutdowns. Shoots alone start at S$1,500 for a half day.
For websites and LinkedIn, 90 seconds to 3 minutes is usually right. The first ten seconds matter most, so the film opens on its strongest moment rather than a logo.
Yes. Francis directs in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Taiwanese Hokkien. Subtitles in English can be added in post so the film works for every audience.
Not usually. Interview-led films work best unscripted, guided by prepared questions. Scripted pieces such as announcements or brand films are planned and written with you before the shoot.
One round of changes is included in the edit. Further rounds are charged at the edit day rate of S$900, agreed with you before any extra work starts.
