Event videography
Launches, conferences and company events filmed by a director who knows which moments matter — and cut into highlight films and social clips people actually watch.
Overview
Events happen once. There is no second take of the CEO's opening line, the reveal at a product launch or the moment an award is announced. Event videography in Singapore is about being in the right place before those moments happen — which means knowing the run-of-show as well as the organisers do, and planning the coverage around it.
Most event videos are an unsorted reel of wide shots and canapés. A directed event film is different: it has a beginning, a middle and an end, it captures the energy of the room through faces and reactions, and it gives the people who missed the event a reason to wish they had been there.
Before the day, you will share the programme, the key speakers and the moments that must not be missed. That becomes a simple coverage plan: where to be for each segment, which speeches need full recording, and where to grab short interviews with guests or speakers. On the day, the director works the room quietly — close enough to catch reactions, never in the way of your guests or your photographer.
For a single-room event, one director with camera and audio is often enough. Larger events with a stage, breakout rooms or simultaneous activities may need a second camera or a dedicated sound person, at S$600 per extra crew member per day. You will know what is needed, and why, before you book.
The core deliverable is a highlight film — usually one to three minutes — that tells the story of the event. On top of that, vertical cutdowns for Reels, TikTok and LinkedIn can be produced at S$400 each, and full-length speech recordings can be delivered for your archive or internal channels. If you need a highlight cut quickly — for the next morning's LinkedIn post, say — mention it at the brief stage so the edit is planned around it.
Most events fit a half-day (S$1,500, up to 4 hours) or full-day (S$2,800, up to 8 hours) shoot, director and gear included. The highlight edit is quoted from the edit rate — a 2–3 minute colour-graded, sound-mixed film starts from S$1,500. See the full rate card or message the run-of-show on WhatsApp for a firm number.
